This is my first year doing a personal 1.3 show. Here is my shell count. Some of the 2.5 are salutes but the rest are assorted effects:

2.5"=90
3"= 72
4"= 36
5"= 10
6"= 1

How would you guys recommend allocating the shells between the opener, body and finale?

start small and pepper with bigger shells but obviously, save your oomph & ballsy shells for finale .

What about percentages? What percent of total shells for each, ballpark?

Do you have finale chains or are these single hits?

Just single hits but I was going to chain them with some fast fuse

I'd personally allocate 30-40 3" and 20ish 2.5" salutes and chain them for a finale. Start off with color then towards to the end double fuse rows for a nice ending with the salutes. Then break the 6" at the very end to cap it.

For the rest, I'd set up each discrete size in it's own 'station' and alternate walking back and forth to get a good pace going. Then every so often break a 5" to keep things interesting.

For an opener - maybe start with a small row of 2.5" salutes and a fast-paced cake if you have any.

Perfect. Those are exactly the details I was looking for. Thank you so much
