If any members can answer these two questions that would be great.
I am looking for people that have both a 4K Television and Blu-ray player. Please answer in your post if you do.

What is the brand of your 4K television?
What is the brand of your Blu-ray player?

I know you are looking for something other than sony. I have a Sony Blu-Ray and Philips TV. The reason I have a Sony is due to the fact that Sony owns that rights to the Blu-Ray technology.

I am looking for different brands of Blu-ray players. I believe Sony owns the Blu ray technology, however there are various brands out there other than Samsung and Sony. Any members have a Blu-ray player other than Sony or Samsung?

Its tough Dave as nobody buys dics anymore. I have the blu-ray player because I have some DVD and blurays that aren't available for streaming yet. I had 1500 dvds and blu-ray discs that I have ripped and now reside on a server in my house simply so I didnt have to have any cases and discs anymore. Its a thing of the past. Its a wonderful setup though as every one of the 9 televisions in my house can stream any movie, any time in full 1080. Thats the way to go my friend. I am a techy kind of guy if you havent picked up on that yet.
