I'm looking to obtain my Type 54 in NJ, I do not have storage/magazine and wouldn't be storing any product in the State of NJ I would be shooting outside of NJ in PA (with local approval, following all local/state/federal regulations).
Anyone have experience with ATF Type 54 licenses in the State of NJ? Do I need any license from the State of NJ to simply hold a Type 54 as I do not intend to store/shoot any product within the state? Passing the background check, investigation and interview shouldn't be a problem as I have no criminal record or arrests of any kind.
Would I have to provide a storage location to ATF during the application process even if I do not intend to store any product? again, any product would be purchased from a dealer in PA and used within hours of purchase. All purchases and discharge of product would be logged.
