In searching some USA fireworks patents I found some interesting events. Some did not make it to market as far as I know. Here is one that would be great. Glow in the Dark Fuse.
For those that do not know American Promotional Events is TNT Fireworks.

A glow in the dark firework device and a method for making same is disclosed. The firework device (10) includes a body (12) having an outer body surface (14), and a glow in the dark fuse (18) passing from the inner body surface (7) of body (12) to the outer body surface (14) of body (12) of firework device (10). Fuse (18) is comprised of a fuse body (16), and a plurality of threads (20,22,26-45) having an ignitable substance (25) dispersed among the plurality of threads (20,22,26-45). The outer fuse surface (9) of fuse (18) has a phosphorescent solution (52) applied thereto.

Dave,

Glow in the dark fuse did actually make it to market on many TNT safe and sane items sold locally by me. Walmart had a lot of them a few years ago on their larger (mostly hollow) fountains. While I agree it's a very cool concept in theory, it worked poorly in real life. Barley able to be seen after sitting under a direct light for 30 mins.

What are some other US patents you found? I know a few were for firecrackers.
