PA Permit Law

Good Evening Pyros, especially PA pyros....

Was speaking to the owner of a fireworks store here in Pennsylvania today who told me that the permit law may become a thing of the past as early as November.

I didn't press him for more info and any searches I've done on the web, including the PA Senate website, have yielded nothing regarding this.

Has anyone heard anything similar? It's about time this silly legislation was scrapped.

There was a press release late June on this - three senators were suppose to write up some type of bill to make this happen. Suppose to be some sort of extra sales tax on top of regular tax to go to the fire depts funding.
I don't know who told you this - but if a bill has NOT BEEN WRITTEN yet!!!!
And when SOME DAY it is written, then gets assigned a number, then goes thru the whole routine of what bills do to become law - it is a process - A L-O-N-G PROCESS.
keep looking on the senate website - one of these days it will eventually pop up on there.
