Well, here's my first video submission. I'm a newbie , so I welcome suggestions to help me improve my set ups and therefore, the displays. Alot of video's posted here and elsewhere have already been huge in helping me and to those people who took the time and effort to post those, I say a sincere thanks

It looks like you need to post the video link again. Just copy and paste from the address bar on YouTube. Once you have the link , click on that little green film strip icon and place the link in that newly open box. If you make a mistake I will try to correct it.

That is neat idea on how you elevated your modules. I also didn't know Spirit of 76 had mines. Your accent brings back good memories of an old Air Force buddy of mine. He was from Bangor.

Bob, I said that buddy of mine was from Bangor. Actually, he was from Presque Isle, Me. Do you have a link to the actual show?

For everyone considering the elevated Cobra Mods , you must also consider buying very long electric match. I think people underestimate the range on the Cobra. That one video I recently posted about not having a fireworks permit, I had the modules in a valley and I was even further down the hill, you could not even see the modules. This field you were in, you probably did not need to elevate that high. It does not hurt if you have long match to cover the additional distance .
I think when they said where is the display, they mean the video. I personally like to see setup videos in the daytime.

its a lot easier to extend the antenna wire. I bought an extension wire from an online website, ill post the website if wanted but they are not a sponsor. it would work on a cobra and is like a 3 foot extension with a little platform. I use an old 4 or 5 foot cb whip antenna stick it in the ground then tape the little platform to it so when your done at night its easy to tear down.

It has never proven necessary. I think it looks cool though I usually cover the module with something then only the antenna is exposed.

Cobra is a sponsor of this site, that's were I got mine. Have the 6 foot extensions for any needed situation. First one I use is on the 18R2, that usually gives me a almost 10# bump. On Saturday when I did this I noticed #'s in the mid to high 70's drop in to the 60's.
Note: I had a few issues with the consumer Imatch I bought last year before getting my Atf license.

https://youtu.be/N9CVS_87Brw Ok here's the video. There are some long delays due to some units not firing. I had continuity and I had even wrapped the leader wires around stakes at the module and at the item(s) being fired to prevent kicking a wire loose. Oh well, everyone enjoyed them and I enjoyed doing this show.
