That's too funny. I've never seen a roll of fuse go all at once!

Yes they do...."Here's me being a moron.." And this is why we have the Orwellian/Big Brother fireworks laws, which are not actually about the fireworks, they are about protecting us from stupid people.

So much for Visco being resistant to side ignition. I actually thought Visco would not burn all at once like that. I am going to have to see if I have any of this brand of fuse. I would be willing to bet if you would stuff that fuse into a cardboard tube and seal it up, then fuse it. It would explode like a big firecracker. Amazing that gray fuse did no off being so close.

It will explode if it's Confined. I made a big visco rocket last year and it went up 2 foot and blew up. Pretty loud too

That's uncoated or lightly coated visco. It resists side ignition but certainly it is not unable to be ignited on the side very easily. Look at B3 Bombers....the fuse is lit through the side by design. The intense heat in that wrapper acted like QM, igniting the whole roll at once. American visco would not likely have ignited that way.

Why would anyone light the fuse the way he did. I wouldn't lay the fuse in to of the bag if I was only lighting a short piece as we saw what can happen.
