I have a 12 module Firing system with remote. Works well and no signs of damage on it.

I upgraded to a few 32 cue systems now and have a extra 12 single module one that I dont need. I have 2 of them and ill keep one just incase.

So, if anyone looking for one let me know. No cost to you just want to help out someone trying to get started with firing system

Some good news.. My wife the awesome WIFE that she is surprised me this year for our anniversary with buying me a cobra firing system. Now it was just 1 remote, 1 - 18 module and 1 case, but it was AWESOME of her.

So, it light of that I will be giving away another 12 module firing system.

Again, I would like to get this to someone who needs it, Not someone who already has one. SO please be honest with me..

Now since the 4th of july is only a few weeks away... Lets make this quick and I will get it out as soon as I can so you too can enjoy. I will also include some consumer igniters to help ya get started as well...

Guess my pm didn't get to you right after you posted again.....

It isnt based off when a PM comes through, based off of who I believe could do the best with it. In this case Mach will be using and passing it on after he gets his other system.. So he and then someone else can enjoy it... That is just my thinking on it and IM not saying u are not in need..

In fact... I will be soon giving away 3 - 32 cue systems... once the rest of the cobra stuff comes in... The 32 cue systems are really really nice. work well for both the consumer igniter and ofcourse ematch..

what a charity pyro! so nice

Hector

Awesome! Question though... You need a type 54 license to buy e-match, right? (yes) But not Consumer E-Match. So the wireless firing system can be bought by a consumer as long as you are not buying e-match?

Pyro Nation
06-08-2011, 10:50 PM
Correct Hector... U would have to just use consumer igniters or make your own ematch which people do

californiapyro
06-09-2011, 09:32 AM
why is ematch better than consumer igniters?

Pyro@Mach13
06-09-2011, 10:17 AM
My guess would be: they have a hotter burn temp, and use less juice to fire up - thus more can be used per cue in series.

I will let everyone know... Will be in this thread.. Scott from Cobra said systems are shipping out on the 15th of june

Ematch ignited based on the fact the head is coated in a pyrogen.....clip igniters use a very very thin wire similar to a light bulb filament, which is in my opinion the weakest link

Pyro Nation
06-09-2011, 07:53 PM
Yes it is Indiana.... the nichrome wire used can be very picky. Depending on the resistance and such, Could take 2 or more seconds to get it to heat up enough to light off firework, but they do work. Find they work a lot better when ya have a system with over 6 volts.

pyro man 205

This is true about clip igniters do work fine with 6+ volts. my 2 systems that i use do great ,1 system is at 6 volts 4 AA batterys. 2 clip igniters will do fine for 1 cue on this one. my other is a 16 ch and i can do 5 clip igniters to 1 cue.
