Years ago I remember reading an average person could purchase wholesale here but the order minimum was high. I just discovered they waived this! When was this changed? I browsed through their catalog and their pricing is high for wholesale but it's cool they waived the ordering minimum.

Wasn't it $2500.00 years ago? I could have sworn it was this amount. Anyone know when this change came?

Sorry for sequential posts.

I Went back and compared to a nearby wholesaler and discovered their pricing is actually comparable.

I could almost swear it has been $2500 for years.

I knew I wasn't crazy then! :)

Well there minimum has been waived. They probably want to be competitive with the nearby wholesalers. I never would have thought they would have done this!

If you are going set off more than a few bottle rockets and firecrackers, wholesale is the way to go. Why pay 35 bucks for one repeater when you can have a case at 7-8 bucks a piece? And there are always leftovers to add to next years stash.

Left-overs?... not sure what that means, haha. ;)

What exactly are leftovers? I never had those myself either!

I don't shop there but I heard min. was lowered two years ago, then went away last year!

Do you know why they finally did this? Probably to be competitive.

They probably woke up and seen how the industry was going.

Since bj alan owns phantom fireworks does that mean you can buy wholesale through them and pick it up at a phantom location? If so that's not a bad deal at all. If not then where can you pick the stuff up?

Interesting that they waived the minimum. Their prices are a little higher than I am used to. Anyone know how shipping cost compares through them?

I think you may have answered your own question with the first part I quoted :p

I don't think the order can be picked up at a retail location which sucks because that's to far for me. I guess I won't be buying wholesale from them!

Have you inquired about their shipping?

No big deal, Id rather deal with kneppy's or one of the other wholesalers I deal with. I like to buy a few things from phantom every year just to show my appreciation for what they do to help with firework politics. When it comes time to buy wholesale I rather give my money to the peeps that support my pyro club.
