I've been using flares and pyro torches for years now... I want to upgrade to a simple to use firing system. I found a video for pyroboom.com on here and see what they have... but no clue how to buy the stuff I need or set it all up and test it before I wire everything.

This year I'll have 7 cases of Excaliber, so around 100 shells, plus many 500 gram cakes and other misc. stuff. The Excaliber shells will all be on racks between 10-30 shells/tubes per rack so only one main fuse will be going to each rack.

I want to be able to sit back about 200' and enjoy the show for once.

What all do I need and where can I learn to set it all up properly?

It sounds like you know how to do fuse techniques. Do you know anything about electric match or consumer igniters? You are going to need a firing system. It sounds like you have enough racks.

"Do you know anything about electric match or consumer igniters"

Nope :(

I tried the Phantom Fireworks efuse/ignite system years ago but could never get it to work.

I want a system where I press a button and what I have wired to it, ignites like it's suppose to.

I just read this... http://www.skylighter.com/fireworks/how-to-make/electric-matches-for-July-4th.asp

Looks dangerous, lol

Not sure how long you have been following my videos, give me a few days to thing about the best one to recommend. Have you been watching any of my videos? If needed I can do a short video to demonstrate the basics. Do you know what "Quick Match" is?

I have two of the Phantom cheapo systems in a box here, they are not very reliable. Pyroboom has nice decent priced systems. I got their 12 cue system last year and I am going to expand that to at least 36 this year with the control desk they sell. Good luck!

I have 3 of this systems http://www.firingsystems.us/MS32Q-32-Cue-Firing-System-p/ms32qplus.htm and 2 of this systems http://www.firingsystems.us/MS12Q-12-Cue-Firing-System-p/ms12q.htm my firing systems are set up with 24v battery (2x12v) and led lights all around so you can see it at night and when I do my display. I will show pictures if anyone want them.
