Lol kidding. But this game is get to know the pyro. Everyone who is a member here let's get to know the non pyro aspect of your life. If your in the biz of pyro what do you do the other 360 days of the year.. ill start... me I'm not in the business. .. but for work i build custom hot rods and outfit trucks for the oil field... yes i know very different but it's fun. For fun other than pyro I scuba dive, skydive and travel the world. What does everyone else do?

Im not in the pyro business either, I run my own construction business which takes up most of my time. What little time I do have I like to work in my shop on racks and setups. My daughters seem to be getting married one year right after another so that also takes up time

In the "conforming" world... Myself and my lady run our own painting and cleaning business.. primarily with higher end rental agencies in the Center City Philadelphia area.

One day.... look into importing pyro. :)

When I first enlisted in '02, I went in as a 31C which basically was a radio telephone operator/maintainer. Only a few years in we had to reclassify due to the age of technology. I was then a 25U which is a Signal Support Specialist.... basically all Internet Technology.

The 31C job was not my primary choice...my first choice was..... yup.... 11C Mortarman. They didnt have any spots open at the time so I was unable to get that.

11C would have sounded like a fun job. I was in for 6 years as an 11B(grunt) then went to EOD(89D) for a short period of time before I discharged for medical reasons.

Very cool Playingwithfire! I'm a Mental Health Tech at one of the larger psych hospitals in NJ. I deal with the same exact population as you. Makes for interesting work for sure!

I'm a retired Audio Engineer--I owned my own company since '76--Design & Installation of sound systems [and later video also]. I had a small regional touring sound system company doing concerts & festivals which I downsized in '86. I still have a small PA system to do Pyromusicals with & cover some club shoots & dealer demo's. Prior to starting my own business I was working as a repair technician fixing synthesizers, amplifiers, & PA systems. Four years in USAF as ECM--Electronic Counter Measures. Worked on A7D's, F-4's, & F105 Wild Weasels.

that's cool. I used to be in audio before my current job. Mobile car audio that is. Did that for about 5 years and before that I was a chef

After college, spent 20 years as an USAF flight crew member, first as a Navigator then lucky enough to get into and complete Pilot training.
After retiring from the military, flew for 2 years for a regional airline. When it went bankrupt, the wife and I started a small retail business down home and have been doing that for almost 20 years. Still look forward to the 4th and NYE to satisfy the pyro fix.

My hobbies as of right now are pyrotechnics and the manufacturing of fireworks. My job on the other hand is programming. I program in the language of Java, yet am learning it as well.

I'm a bum. Retired 6 years ago after spending my adult life as a tool maker [cutting tools]. Now I spend a lot of great time with great grand children and grand children. And, oh yeah, teaching them how to be safe with fireworks. The highlight of my week is having one for the weekend, which is normally every weekend. Suits me just fine, keeps me hopping. Wife passed some years back so between them and my hobbies, all is well.

Very cool!! I am a sucker for analog synthesizers. Owned a slew of different ones in my younger years. I still have an Oberheim Matrix 6R sitting in my closet collecting dust.
