Compound bow artillery shell

When I look at this video, it looks like he left the lift in the shell. I am also wondering if they cut the fuse shorter? I think the artillery shells properties are frequently misunderstood by novice users of fireworks.

I totally believe that these two individuals were not aware of artillery shell's lift power. The lift would easily destroy the tape rapped up around the arrow and the shell, allowing it to fall to the ground and explode.
