Good evening all, my name is Mike and I have been an avid pyro since I was 9! A Christmas present from my aunt who lives in Tennessee was a huge assortment of fireworks! That was almost 26 years ago and I have put on more backyard shows than I can remember. I also volunteer @ 1.3g shows, setting up and hand firing for a few different companies. I do it all for the smiles and cheers at the end.

I found Dave's videos earlier this year and one in particular convinced me to finally get my own type 54 instead of just being another name on someone else's responsible persons list. I highly recommend purchasing Dave's videos on the type 54 application, because it made a lot of sense out of the application submittal. I mailed in my application to the atf on 10/29/2014 and have my interview with the ATF inspector next Thursday! Less than a three week turnaround, and from what I gather from others waiting period, is quite remarkable! Thanks again Dave! I'll keep everyone updated on my status!!

Thanks for purchasing my ATF/DVD package, it helps me keep the lights on so to speak. Pennsylvania is the highest ATF licensed state in United States, soon you will be helping us keep it that way. It sounds like you have some experience professionally and want to advance further into it. Keep us posted and let us know when you receive the "Blue Envelope" . I think pyroJoe is from NEPA also.

I can't thank you enough for that final nudge to pursue my type 54 Dave!!! I had my interview last Thursday, and it was very relaxed. I knew so much of the Orange book off the top of my head, the inspector encouraged me to apply at the atf and would put in a referral for me! I still have to talk that over with the wife, but that's a story for another day... Because I got my blue letter today!!! All is well in the world now... Lol. But thank you again Dave! I will send anyone I know who is interested to you for help!

That's a pretty serious list, though I live in Monroe County... I couldn't possibly be the first right?

The list I have is at least two years old ,. but yes you may be the first 1.3 ATF license in Monroe County Pennsylvania.

I should say you will be the first in that county.
