There was a brown box on my porch tonight when I got home from work. My wife said go ahead and open it it was my christmas present. I had a big smile on my face to find the cobra combo set of the r2 and module. I cant wait to fire something off with it.
Ive watch most of the videos but has anyone had any experience on writing scripts on excel or a video that I could watch

Welcome to the family Melp!

For scripting, you can make scripts using a few options:

1) Excel - See our video below. In the description we have links to our template. We also offer a full PDF instructional guide (http://www.cobrafiringsystems.com/COBRA18R2CreatingandUploadingScripts.pdf).

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sjTBVEmcdYI

2) COBRA Show Creator - A simple to use PC application for scripts. It's $49.95 for a 2 year license. Check it out here: http://www.cobrafiringsystems.com/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=140 It's a great little piece of software.

3) Finale Fireworks (http://www.finalefireworks.com) - A higher end visual choreography simulation system. For larger shows, this is a great software package as we both sell and support the application.

Any questions you can email us at ssmith@cobrafiringsystems.com or call me direct at 518-222-7410.

Congrats Melp. The cobra is an awesome piece of equipment. I used it for the first time at the October shoot. 5 mods and had to use all five too. Its so much better to actually watch what you did and enjoy your own show. We are having another open shoot in December. If you want to try it out there, come on out. It might be a good drive for you but if you are anxious to press those buttons, feel free to join us, since I missed you at the last shoot.

LOL! nope, maybe in northern MI, but down here in the burbs, we haven't seen anything. Hopefully it snows a bit before our shoot because I heard fireworks look better when there is some white powder on the ground.
