On my first shoot I was told to wear cotton cloths. When it was time to start the show they put on jackets that looked like the jackets that fireman wear. Theirs had shooter patches and so on. The guys said not to worry they would put me out if I caught fire.
My Question is where do you buy one of these and what is a good price. And is there a name for the jacket, I went on line and was looking at turnout jackets.
Does any use the flame retardant Dickies or carhart jackets will those work as well?

Personally, I use a welders flame retardant jacket. They are green with snap buttons on the front. About 17 bucks and available at any local welding supply store.
