Take a look at this display shell I do not think I ever saw one like this in USA. Its like the rising effect little shells are secured to the main shell and timed to break ahead of the large shells. But, instead of breaking on the way up they break in the center. I bet this can easily be replicated in the field. It would be great to add little 1.75 salute shells onto a larger shell.

Great video find Dave. We can duplicate that! That was a 5" [125mm] shell...I'll put it on the "future projects" list & will keep you posted. Timing the small shells so they don't go off prior to the shell hitting its apex will be the challenge .
