I purchased five of his racks a few months ago. They are great quality and the price is extremely competitive. I try to convince new fireworks enthusiast to purchase racks and buy canister artillery shells. I recommend the 12 inch DR11 HDPE pipe. Fiberglass has it place I guess, but for longevity and durability the way to go is HDPE.
I really excited to sign up pyroboom because of their reputation.

Hey guys, what's the difference in these tubes size with how they shoot? Ie. an 8 inch vs a 12 inch? I guess from a physics stand point a longer tube will shoot a straighter more accurate line?
Thanks.

those 8" tubes are for mine devices which just shoot a bunch of stars right out of the tube.

as for the shells.... there are 12" and 15" in length. Technically, the taller the tube the higher the shell will go...but....most shells fuse wont stick out of the 15" tubes unless you add some extra to it.

Accuracy has no involvement in this, lol.

Maybe if they were rifled, yea. Thats what is done with firearms to make the bullet more accurate and travel further. (causes spin)
If a barrel was not rifled, the bullet would come out and just spin end over end.

haha cool thanks, I questioned why accuracy would come into play with fireworks.

I just built my first rack with Pyroboom tubes, although I trying figure out how I will stabilize it, I'm leaning towards some stakes on the ends.

looks good . you can use stakes or rebar or boards nailed/screwed to the bottom of the rack that swing out in opposite directions to make storing/transporting them easier and have more room .

I know the first line of thought is that if you build your racks you can do it a lot cheaper. Honestly, with what materials cost these days, I'd say you can almost buy a rack that is built by someone who does it daily for what you can build one. So if you arent handy with wood and all, maybe your best bet is the spend a few more bucks and take most of the worries out of the whole process. Its something to think about.
