Thinking about going with either ex cals or pro shells. I heard pro shells are better but for the price of the xcals you get more bang for your buck. 6 boxes in a case for xcals Pro shells only have 4.
How much better are pro shells? ???

Its just personal opinion. I like Excals more, buddies like Pro and other carts.

But that is said before anyone sees the 2014 shells. Each year there is variation, but this year there seem to be even more off-brand rewraps of Excal carts.

have you seen the black cat diablo shells, they seem to have more of a wider break.

Excals ... Pro Shells ... Extreme shells (Windmill) ... Megabanger Exterminator shells ... Cutting Edge Cans - shooter AR15, Firearm, and the list goes on...
It probably depends on what you have access to - yes - some variance from year to year - all of the above mentioned though has been pretty consistent....

I'm going to give Electric Rain a shot this year, simply because the purple guy is too expensive. But price aside, I want some lift.

If you break down the price per box of 24 shells in a case they are about the same. The big difference is that pro shells come with 4 boxs of 24 and the excalls come with 6 boxes of 24.

The cases must have been getting to heavy for them....lol

Im guessing they did that move to make them a little more affordable in a consumer eyes... not everyone pays attention to the 6/24 or 4/24

I think that is it! Folks have been complaining for years - gosh back breakers!!!
i can lift (but with difficulty) a 4/24 excal or similar, but forget about 6/24 - just don't have it in me anymore...

excel, pro, excel, pro, I've had it!!! sure there both real nice. This year I picked up 2 cases of American Brave from WFB. after testing 20 or so. breaks are good both in sound and size. of course in "THE SHOW" everything is shot in multiples 5 or more.
