View Full Version : Fusing Cakes On A Cakeboard

Most, if not all, consumer cake fuses "point" up from the cake. When creating a cakeboard should you leave fuse pointing up, bend them perpendicular to cake or is it ok to bend them down towards your board? Damage to cake fuse is my concern......joe

Bend them anyway you need them. Worse case is they come out - so you push them back in. No whoop.

Only thing that is important is that the cake fuse is following the path of the fire....

Most cake fuses are longer than what you see. If you feel for the fuse under the paper over the fuse you can cut away the paper with an exacto knife and expose the entire length of the fuse before it enters in to the cake. This gives you a lot more fuse to work with when chain fusing cakes. It makes it easier to tape your chain fuse to your cake fuse.
