Here is an unlisted video clip from my most recent fireworks adventure in the state of Ohio. Watch how fast this finale goes.

seems like there were multiple hits in it to make it burn from everywhere. why would somebody do that to their finale to make it go so fast?

Here is another video with slow and fast. I never did ask them but I suspect they ran a piece of quick match across the entire finale. I do not know if it is necessarily wrong to do it this way, it sure was intense. I was the one pressing the buttons on the Cobra, there were a few finale items leading up to this. I had back up electric match in place but never needed them. As soon as I hit the first match on the finale the entire thing went up. I did not build it so I am unsure how they fused it. I was invited to this display and brought my Cobra system along, I offered my system and they invited me to fire the finale. Since it was their display I fired it as instructed. The instructions were to fire a series of cakes including an American Thunder cake from IPI, then the main finale followed by a flight of shells called "Windbells" this again I believe is another International Pyrotechnic Importer shells , then I moved into the second module firing four six inch salutes and three eight inch display shells. The six inch salutes were labeled as a 1.1 product.

When I look over you comments you talk a lot of stuff. Let see you post a video of how to work on fireworks finale. Where should they be standing when they load the shells across the street?

Not sure of his previous posts, be he poses a legit question. It's hard to tell on the video, but are they actually leaning over the loaded mortars? If so, that's a big no-no.

I will tell you that I am all over a fireworks finale when I load it, including standing on top of it. Once the electric match is in it then I may be more reluctant to be directly over it.
Everyone is free to an opinion to some degree but there comes a point when someone that criticizes what they see in my videos has to in fact make a video themselves demonstrating what they feel is the proper way to do something. Why is it I never see any videos about other people setting up finales or fireworks displays? It is easy to be anonymous and tell someone else what they are doing wrong. I bet if I picked a person that criticizes my videos and said I want to show up at one of their fireworks displays and video it from start to finish they would say no. Do you think we would see you making a fireworks mistake? I would suggest to just enjoy the fireworks videos, this video for example is titled 0 to 100 finale, not, lets see who made a mistake in this video. When you watch this type of video, enjoy the speed of the finale and the excitement of the audience. If you are looking for fault of the technicians, you will always find it.
I welcome anyone to please post, a VIDEO showing us how to do something fireworks related. Do not just be a critic if you are doing displays, show us your video and tell amd show us something about you.

This is too much for me. "Free to their opinion to some degree" then demanding posting another video demonstrating the proper way?!?

Why don't you consider this Dave. Every video you post of unsafe practices (there are several) give regulators ammo to regulate this industry into the ground. The fact the you admit you stand on racks when loading finale proves safety means nothing to you.

I ask of to you consider the entire industry instead your own glory when you post videos.
