SILSBEE, TX/JOPLIN, MO -Texas Fireworks Company, owned and operated for 40 years by Benny Gardner, announces that it has selected Red Rhino Fireworks out of Joplin, Missouri to acquire his company.
“This was a very important decision for me and my family, one we didn’t take lightly. Steve Houser and his company Red Rhino Fireworks represent the same values and commitment to fireworks and their customers that have been the foundation of our business for the past forty years.”
The two companies combined will nearly double Red Rhino’s business reach and provide Red Rhino a Southern distribution point, improving shipping options throughout the entire southern region of the United States. In addition, Red Rhino Fireworks will now have four major, proven top quality private label brands to offer fireworks retailers:
Texas Outlaw, Hog Wild, Red Rhino & Full Blown Fireworks. In addition, Red Rhino also carries the Brothers Pyrotechnics line as well.

Benny Gardner will remain active in the business as a consultant for Red Rhino.
