Hmmm...Good question...In Pa anyone 18 yr old and older is allowed to buy and shoot off 1.4g. This must be a PGI thing just to cover all bases as each state is different in their age restrictions.

Here is a link to the application page on the PGI site:

I see nothing there about your question. JPA is 6 to 17. If you are under 18 the application needs to have an attachment of approval from parents of legal guardian.

A 20 year old friend of mine attended seminars the entire week and worked his butt off on the battle of the bands display we put on last year.

I will look closer at the registration form. By the way, you do know you have to be a PGI member to do anything other than just watch the evening's shows right?

Okay looked at the registration. That line is for a family member of an adult for reduced admission fee like for JPA. It gives the family a break to attend. When a member is 21 you register on your own not on parents membership.

So a new yearly membership with bulletins is $100. The registration for the week is $155.00 before June 1 and $170 after June 1. So if the total to attend is either $255.00 or 275.00 depending in timing. That will get you into everything that doesn't require additional money, like manufacturing for example, at the convention.
