Hello all,

I got a call today from my local ATF agent and have an interview set up for August 30th.

Wish me luck and I will keep you posted with the progress.

Note: Application was sent in 5 weeks ago.

We wish you the best of luck! Be sure to give a followup, letting us now how it went. Many, including myself, are about to undertake the process also.

Good Luck Andy! As so many have reminded me, and others. It really is no big deal and the agent is there to talk to you and inform you. Sure he asks questions here and there but thats just so he knows what he needs to tell you. Just be yourself, answer honestly and you will be fine!

Exactly. I always thought of it more as an information session than an "interview."

Good luck to all those having interviews coming up. I'm also happy to say that I received my call today to set mine up for the 30th. Surprised it was so soon. Just sent my app in about 2 weeks ago.

Thanks for all the positive replies and good wishes.

I had my interview today and it went very well. It lasted about one hour. The agent was extremely nice and informative. She said I should receive something in the mail very shortly. Will update you all once the envelopes arrive.
