I have recieved my Type 54 license with the help of Dave and the information on this forum. That looks like it was the easy part. Has anyone gone through the permit process in Michigan starting with the Authority Having Jurisdiction which in my case would be the township board (part time). Any information would be appreciated. We had a very nice consumer fireworks show but I would like to put a little more umph in the show for next year plus after looking at the pricing also more bang for the buck. Thanks in Advance

I don't have my license yet but my buddy does. He says you just go to the township and apply for a permit. You must have 1 mil worth of liability insurance, this is done with your home insurance. Of course, each township may vary a bit. He shoots in different areas and has never had a problem getting permits. Where about are you in MI?
