My 2012 fireworks show video

This is my first video of our annual Independence Day fireworks show. It was all hand fired. The person who was supposed to show up with the HD camcorder did not make it so we had to shoot the video with a Canon SX30is. Please leave any comments on what we can do to make next years show better. It is all 1.4 product. Enjoy...

Nice Job. Not sure on your open area to the sides I know I seen some trees. Maybe have some angled next time to fill more of the sky up

The area does open up a good bit. The trees are actually in front of the set up. There are some homes in the neighborhood and the Captain of the fire dept. specifically requested that I not angle any cakes or use any rockets to keep the show away from the houses. I did try to use a number of panoramic cakes. Its funny that the show doesn't look nearly as impressive on video as it does in person. The video was actually shot almost 100 feet behind the crowd. Closer up it looked much wider.
