One of my friends told me he had seen a video of using Daves Magic Tape tape to connect fuses together. Can anyone direct me to this video I am not having much luck finding it it. I have been using zip ties and would like to try the tape. Thanks

This is probably the video you were referring to. This shows how to fuse multiple shells in a mortar rack using the tape.

I like that last video, this is why you should always consider getting the 12 inch mortars, not all fireworks shells allow that much extra fuse to hang out and will not be so easy to work with. I would like to see the reliability of that technique.

I have always used 12 inch mortars. 15 in mortars can be a real pain to fuse.

The Cost vs usefulness of the 12" vs 15" isn't worth it to me. Stick with the 12" for many reasons

I use this tape for everything! It doesn't leave as much sticky residue on my fingers as duct tape does and it burns well. I use it for all sorts of non-pyro related things and it works great.

what is the difference between this tape and lets say..masking tape, duct tape, and-or zip ties. Is it mainly the same result?

It's cheaper than duct tape and holds much better than masking tape. I use zip ties and tape.
