If you're having trouble finding someone to do inked fingerprints for you, ATF will now accept the cards that Livescan shops can print digitally. See the response below I received:



Thank you so much for your inquiry. The Federal Explosives Licensing Center cannot currently receive digital fingerprint. We do accept prints taken digitally and printed onto a physical card. We will also accept prints taken from a place certified to do fingerprints that is not a law enforcement agency.

Great information and about time for sure. At least here in the Pennsylvania , even with a digital scanner , be sure they have a provision to print the fingerprints. Here in the Pittsburgh Pa area, when I renewed my CDL Hazmat, the man told me they only had one local location that could print.
