This year 2025 will be something our crew has been looking to do for a long time.
A full show with nothing but hard hitting Rock music and lots of fire and Nukes.
Everyone is pretty excited about this coming year!
So I thought why hold back! As the field will be setup like a 80-90 Rock stage we need a little more to make it more … Extreme
I just designed and ordered Rock concert tickets, have tumblers for the crew we will sale at a swag table along with T shirts. All of this will go great with our flag I had made last year.
May have to even have a 80-90 Freedom Rocker costume contest.
Hope this inspires someone out there to do something a little different this year and add a little extra fun to your event.
What do you have fun planned this year?
Would love to see some great ideas

Sounds fun!
I found out over the holidays my niece is pregnant and due the 1st week of July. That means most, if not all, of those that travel to the lake I shoot at each year will not be making the trip. So far I'm still planning to do the show there unless neighbors start dropping out too. I do have a second site lined up at my SiL's house. I have yet to see it in person but they have 5 acres of mostly open land and it's several hours closer then the lake. It's still in NY though. It's rural but I am a little concerned how it would be received by the neighbors.
I was all ready to get started after the new year but this news put everything on hold wile I try and figure out how to approach the situation.

Your in the same boat I was in last year.
First grandchild was due on July 2nd. Told my daughter I have a 4 hour window I can't make it so do what you can to hold it between 6pm-10pm on the 4th.
He ended up coming on the 28th and our daughter and grandson made it to the day event on the 4th but opted to leave right before the show which was understandable.
I wouldn't hold back and move forward and adjust as needed. The probability your niece will have her first baby on July 4th between 6-10pm is low. First week of July +/- 6 to 8 days yes ... 2 week window = 384 hours, you only need 4
The only problem I had with my math and reasoning was the wife ... LOL
That's the way I planned my 4th, but I can tell you if our new little guy would had came on the 4th I would had been at the hospital with my daughter and our son-in-law.
Worse case, don't know the laws up there. You could always move the show to the next weekend for everyone to enjoy if the new baby comes within a day or so of the 4th.

The problem is my family and myself live 5+ hrs away. There's a lot of time and logistics needed in making a trip there. Unfortunately the decision has been made, they're not making the trip this year. There will be a show. I've always said I would do a 4th show even if I'm the only one around to see it.

I say Heck Ya do it!!
Idea ...
I've been appeasing everyone for years with music each year to make it balance and something everyone would enjoy.
2025 4th will be the year for Rock music I've been wishing to do for year.
The trade off was I had to do country music for New Years. So I traded 9 mins of country music for a 20 min rock show ... think I came out on top on this one
This is YOUR YEAR!!!
What music are you going to do? Do you have the music picked out yet?
Here is my 2025 Pick:
Drowning Pool - Let the Bodies Hit the Floor
Pantera - Cow Boys from Hell (Intro only)
Audio Slave - Cochis
Motley Crew - Wildside
In the Moment - The Fighter (Slow song the Wife picked out before the finale)
Metellica - Fuel (Rick in Tampa picked)

Rocking Your Fireballs - 2025

It depends. If I do my show at the alternate site I'm likely going to largely duplicate last years show and make it easy on myself. I have al lot of the product I used left over from last yeas show. It would just make it a very easy and budget friendly year. I would probably invest in some hardware (e.g pyro lamas) with the budget money I would save.
I was planing on using The Who - Teenage wasteland this year but it was going to likely be budget busting show. I don't want to do that if the core of my audience is not going to be there. I haven't thought any more of it beyond that.
