here's my honest opinion on them, take it or leave it...

MCR's are cheap and easy, but as with all things cheap and easy they aren't always the best solution...like duct...

i've heard good things about lidu 1.75's, single and double's... the double's that break color then salute are nice for finales too.

due to shoot site distances, sometimes the only shell you can use is a 1.75. it's also a very popular tube size that most pyro's tend to have...so why not make 1.3 shells to fit those guns?

for starters, just so you know the difference in case you don't, "class B" is now called 1.3 and "class C" is 1.4.

it's hard to tell from the picture but if you lower the top of that bottom rail to just below the top of the plugs you eliminate the potential of a blowout transferring energy into the side rails.

typically longer guns are for multi-break and/or "salami" shells.

there are pro's and con's to the HDPE/fiberglass question.

personally i like HDPE but fiberglass guns are used by shooting...
