All of their stuff is very consistent, and some of the best colors that I have seen in a consumer line. I personally have worked with Steve Houser before, very nice person with great customer service!
I have done it before. Just make sure you have enough space between the shells and your audience, general rule is 100 feet per inch the shell. Excals are 1.75 inches, so give yourself about 175 feet....
Here is the pyromusical that was shot at the Hance Pyrotechnics shooter school in Tahlequah, OK. The shell sizes are 3,4,5,6,and a couple of 8's. Sorry about the guys that were sitting next to me,...
Here is a short video of some close proximity fireworks. The first one is 2 2x40 gerbs that are inserted into a spinner, the second part is concussion pots and sparkle spots. Video doesnt do justice...
Just an FYI. The signal booster that they are using works amamzing! We were able to test one this past weekend at the Red Rhino demo in Joplin. At about 500 yards, it took the signal strength from 68...
I don't now if they are exactly the same or not, but Red Rhino also has mortar tubes that are like the Excalibur tubes. They come with their Max'd out canister shells(similar to the exals), and also...
Can't wait for the full video! Scott Smith is my Hero! We got work with him at the nfa convention this year, and we couldn't have done it without him.
With you on that one. That was really neat. Looked like a lot of concussion pots, and a cremora fireball?
I have a couple of razor knives, 2 headlamps, usually have a couple of rolls of Dave's Magic Tape, knee pads, leather gloves, and a pair of wire cutters that i keep in a small tool bag that I carry...
No thanks required Dave. It's what we pyros are all about, helping one another out. It's funny how things work out though. 2 people on an international website have no clue that they are less than 10...
Hello, we are neighbors. I live in Bella Vista. How much experience do you have? There are a couple of companies that I work for that are local. We are always looking for people to help us with shows.
Do you have any pics of the setup. I notice that there were different videos joined together. Just curious how it was set up.
Here is the show that I was a part of New Years Eve. The product is all 500g cakes. Its a combination of Red Rhino's Fullblown fireworks, Red Rhino, and a couple of Brothers items. It was shot using...
Welcome David!
Welcome Jason. You will find lots of good people here, with lots of knowledge. If you want to learn, there are people here who can help.
My first year, I think I did about 10. I am blessed to have associations with 2 different companies. Between 1.4, 1.3, and close prox, by the end of this year, I will have shot or helped with 28...
I didn't get it either I checked spam as well.
I want to know 2 things: 1 how did they get that shell? 2 What did they launch it out of? They have no clue how lucky they are. Some are IDIOTS! No wonder there are people who to completely outlaw...
We did a couple of these at a big show for a church in late June of this year. We uses a 50/50 mix of creamer and very fine saw dust. It worked great, and just for fun we wired the e-match in series...
I know that I am not as experienced as alot of the people that are on here, but here is what I think about the topic, and my experience as well. I am about to turn 28, and I started handling and...
I look forward to following the project.
It works extremely well. I don't know if you saw the thread about the nfa 1.4 competition, but that is the setup that we used for the red rhino show.
