I would check your scales. Make sure your batteries are fresh . Check the batch weight after you have combined every thing. And check it after you have milled it.

For much hotter BP you might wont to try a charcoal made from a soft wood like Eastern red cedar works very good.
And it is very easy to make your self. Just buy a bag of pet bedding at Walmart....
