What I do with mine is after I glue the time fuse in I add a collar of 1/2" dia PEX tubing--about a 3/8" long piece--hot glue it to the shell, fill the collar with hot glue. After it dries I "crown"...

Good job on the shells. Nice symmetry. Was the low break a time fuse issue? You have come a long way in a short time! "Pat on the back"!
