That was awesome......
I'm not against what you are saying... I never reload on a 1.3 display... I'm only insinuating that some states may allow it
Maybe certain states have regs in place that allow it...
The danger factor is there with a smoking gun.... if it's been cooled off for say 15-20 min I'd say have it or if it's a steel mortar in sand...otherwise really not a good idea to reload during a show
I didn't even watch the video prior to my comment... after seeing the video that basically is an example of what you should never do...and by other people seeing this is sending the wrong message
I think being well versed in 1.3 is certainly the smart thing to do if you have never shot B before. It's a different animal...... get on with a pryo club.... get on with pyro company. Your gonna...
I've done it only a few times on a private shoot, but never in our CT displays... def raises the hair on my neck
Dave the problem lies that here in CT there are only a few of us that have a 54 so I'm sure that's why he asked. My interview went just fine and turned out he also plays hockey so we got on that...
I agree with where you are coming from..if your on private property with no one around... let it rain salutes..... that's why I love going out to PA. I was at a party on 7/4 and the country...
We actually use a lot of the metal racks from 2.5 - 5". My only beef are the 4's and 5's where the welds on the top and bottom come loose from constant banging around loading and unloading from the...
Nice set up
Tyler, as long as you are within a 2 hour drive from the shoot site to the storage you are fine. Meaning you have contingency say though either of those vendors and that they are within a 2 hour...
I agree there...... I know when I had my interview the ATF he had asked me about discharging product. I showed him my NHPA membership and that I was also in the process of getting my CT Cert of...
I think the problem arises when someone comes in and says I want to add 1.3 to my show when that person might or has not ever used 1.3 and does not know about the regs that go into legally...
The ATF might actually know themselves or just google display fireworks dist in that area. Keep in mind there is more that needs to be done even if you get a 54
The shipping container would have to meet ATF standards first. You cant just have a container dropped and store 1.3 in it. It must be modified inside with plywood as well as the inside of the doors...
American Fireworks in Utica sells 1.3 so you might find contingency there
Did you have to get a permit for the 1.3?
All finale chains come with a visco fuse so even if you cut into other chains to make it all one hit you can still leave on the visco on the end of the chain anywhere have a backup incase the chain...
Nice.. We used a fireone in Bridgeport CT Saturday for the Barnum Fest show.... 12 mods and up to 8" shells....
Nice job!!
The Hazmat test is actually 10 questions while the Knowledge test for driving the truck is 30 questions. My display company paid for everything
I'm quite surprised that he would show himself in a video and showing display product he is hoarding in his house..... I mean just insane
I'm pushing nothing... I'm merely stating what is right and wrong
I guess you've never seen a 6 flowerpot in a mortar then....... using PVC is just plain stupid to be honest. I don't think anyone would disagree with me on that. Whoever is bootlegging B though...
