I'm ready to move up and money isn't an issue, I just don't see paying almost 300 for 18 cues when the FTH-48S by firetek has 48 cues for 134 dollars

I am fairly new to these systems as in the past I've put long timed fuses on my boards and lit them.
My question is: if I buy the 18R2 remote, does it work with other firing modules besides the 18M?...
