Your bottom rail should never be higher than your plug. In a blow out your trying to keep the bottom rail from getting hit.
Mortars and tubes are the same thing. 1.75" shells use dr11 1.91 mortars (tubes). Festival balls and smaller shells use dr9 or smaller.
Freemont Indiana, just a few miles down the road from Hamilton.
I was in a hotel over the weekend and couldn't log on. The hotels ip address was blocked. Couldn't even see it as a guest. I thought that was pretty funny.
Thats pretty cool Pyroliffic.
Mid Altantic Fireworks Festival isn't a club. It is a shoot held by Northern Lights Pyro Club twice a year, every spring and fall. There is also Northeast Ohio Pyro Club.

You also have to be licensed in Ohio by Ohio. If you plan on shooting in Ohio you'll need that also. Study up on 1123 and you'll be fine. I'm not sure if you need one or the other first. Good...
Yes 3-5k is what you should expect to pay. Probably closer to 5k. It doesn't matter to the insurance companies if your a hobbiest or not. They just look at it as fireworks. You can try to get one day...
1.4 or 1.3 doesn't matter. 3-15K depending on your policy. You can probably expect to pay 3-5K. Do you really need it, not by PA law if the $500.00 bond is all that your community requires....
Both are nice cakes but Asian Sensation gets my vote.
Hey Joyce, yea I was there. The great thing about the demos is I only have to remember you while you have to try and remember all of us (lol).
Nice demo Joyce, I could do August but not June. I like the group buy idea though.
We are shooting more and more 2.5" each year. There are some really good 2.5s out there and the extra 40 shells in a case makes them a great buy. The biggest downfall to the 2.5s are the tubes. There...
Nice racks Albone. Love the candle rack. Blown2bits, come on man, we don't all have security at all our shoots. You are security if it is your shoot. Common sense goes a long way. Drunks and...
Welcome aboard Zack. I shot a lot of their product last year and they have some nice stuff and great pricing. Unfortunately for me they have moved to far away but you guys out east will enjoy the...
I'm going to assume you don't have much experience with fireworks. Black is the most common color you will see racks painted. First, Black is used because it doesn't stick out at night. Secondly...
I also paint mine black. No advantage to painting them. I just think they look cleaner.
I have only seen it done with 1.4 stuff. I personally suck at it but the guys that can do it spend hours with different fuse trying to get it right. Here is what I can tell you. The main fuse is the...
All my Dr11 guns are now 12". I use to have 15s but didn't see any real advantage. The biggest problem with 15" guns are the fuses being to short. most consumer shell fuses will be to short for 15"...
You lost me on this one. In your first post you said it is legal. After my post you indicated I was correct that it is illegal. Is it legal or not and are you looking for a legal shoot or an illegal...
I'm heading down there in a little over a month. Everything I have read says fireworks inside city limits anywhere along the grand strand is illegal including the beach. Is this not correct? From...
Joyce
Are you expecting your whole product line to be in by then?
I wont argue this with you but you are dead wrong on this. Pa law clearly states you need a permit to display fireworks. There is nothing in the law about purchasing. That is the given factor after...
I always use a least 2 stakes and duck tape for little cakes. For 1.3 cakes and big 1.4 cakes I use 1x6 on the sides of the cake and 1x6 laid flat and nail to the side 1x6 in the front and back of...
