The leaders on 1.75" 1.3g shells are like 18" long... I've got a 10 shot made with 16" long tubes that are plugged with a 2" plug... Doesn't make a bit of difference, for shells... Mines work great...

Pyroboom for the win on shipping for sure.
As for preference, I've got a few hundred hdpe Dr11 and a few hundred fiberglass consumer size tubes... Both work great, but I don't leave the fiberglass...
