Thanks Hal! Always appreciate your knowledge with these obscure brands.
Hal, that’s exactly right, not real horse brand but a reproduction of the old label that was put out this year.
So I was out pyro picking today and visited a few mom and pop shops. Came across these two bricks and looked to be a little older judging by the back wraps. Does anyone have a guess to the age? I?m...
Finn, the plaster/clay plugged ones are definitely better. I just hate seeing them slowly watered down each year. Very disappointing. I must say that fake triangle is a new one. Never know what...
Reminds me of the newest version of wiseguy crackers. 50 mg red cracker disguised within a larger tube of red paper. Doesn?t even compare to a regular black cat....

Does anyone have some information on these thunder bombs or a guess at the age? I haven?t been able to find a similar pack label with the 50 milligram statement on each pack. Was this only printed...
Very sweet! Great finds!

Thanks Al, hopefully can make it out your way this spring! Thanks for the info!
Hi Dave, that wasn’t me but always looking for tips and advice! The PGI convention is on my bucket list but always seems to be out west. And yes, that would be a long drive.
Jknepp1954 - just south of Pittsburgh. But I saw the store tour that Pyro Dave did a few years back and will definitely try to make a stop this year. Family owned stores are always the best.
joewad, I think it was the frustration of being a safe and sane state for so long! Now we're coming out the woodwork, lol.
Long time fireworks enthusiast aka pyro addict! Have recently started collecting vintage fireworks as well.
Found this forum from watching Dave's videos (Big fan). Happy to see so many like...
