Thanks. It was a combination. Body had 3'' and 4'' shells but was mostly consumer and AP cakes. Finale had 3'' salutes, 4'' & 5'' Nishiki strings. And an 8'' that I miss timed and got lost in the...

Here are the setup...
Thanks! We got a decent amount of cars to pull over and watch from the shoulder of 70mph highway. Hope everyone has a good 2021.
We shot last night for NYE. If you like Nishikis, the finale starts at about 8:40. Salutes and Nishikis at 9:25.

With the 62mms I only use the lift time. I figure with the igniter right into the lift it doesn't matter that much. With the 1.3 shells I add a prefire (.1) because of the QM. I've just never tried...
I'll add that I, and I believe many people on here, poke their cakes and put initiators in them in advance too. Just be sure to leave initiators and slates shunted. Always some risk tho.
Yes, I do leave them wired into the slats for a few days in the garage. They are series slats with shunts on both sides of the slat, which I understand decreases the risk of ignition. However,...
Fire Art is closer to you by about an hour and a half. They have nice product.
Why do you say that FPS? Just curious. I don't know much about this stuff.
Also, dave's video from last year at fire and thunder at the hollow has a nice setup section with angled racks.

They sure can be. The ones in the back are fanned in the picture below. They are 3s and 4s. I use just a sideboard (cut up deck boards) on each side and sometimes an upper board too.
I'm not sure...
I have not tried to perfectly time any 1.3 3'' or 4'' shells. Maybe someone else can chime in too.
For that show, I scheduled 4'' shells about .5 second behind other effects because I did not...
Thank you!
I apologize for putting 3 inch shells in the initial post. I will try and edit it. It should have said 62mm. I use 2.25 seconds (and 0 prefire) for 62mm and (3'') NOABs (poked). The...
I live by 2.25 seconds in cobra show creator. The effects hit pretty darn close. Watch the 3 shells at 1:09 for an example.

Thanks for the reply. Those are all very helpful ideas and are much appreciated. PM sent.
Here is a link to the section on storage. Only paragraphs 8 and 9 apply to Display Fireworks. Below is...
We were thinking of installing a small type 4 magazine for next season. I will be leasing a portion of the farm that we usually shoot on. This situation limits some of what I can do with perimeter...
I never shot that one. But these are good:
Dominator: Breaking news
SO76: colorful world of crossettes
Both are at American Wholesale Fireworks
Holy salutes...very nice!
Great job sir! I thought that your effects went with the music really well!
That's a sad day...I definitely have. My understanding is that the local offices make those determinations regarding what are the limits. Hopefully they let it work for you!
It might be helpful...
I use Kellner's and am a big fan. Their discount structure is a pain if you don't buy a lot, I tend to do ok with it. The local atf office here uses a 100 mile radius. The inspector told me that's...
That's an impressive starter's kit!
I'm happy to see all those slats too for that 72m. I thought I was being slick in buying the 72m with onboard cues to save some money. Then I learned what it's...
Very awesome sir! Get a video next time, please!
