Does anyone have video of shells being shot out of 12" and 15" at the same time? If the 15" mortar propels the artillery shell higher in the air, the artillery shell shot from the 12" mortar should...

I wanted to get people's thoughts on this subject. Some say that a 15" HDPE mortar will give you extra height out of your shells compared to the 12" HDPE mortar, but you may run into some problems....

It seems like based on everyone's comments, tape is the way to go. I will look for "Dave's Magic tape". I'll make sure to have 1" of the shell's fuse against the lead cannon fuse.

I forgot to mention...all their mortar tubes come plugged and the rack is constructed out of a combination of solid lumber and plywood. No particle board.

I am preparing a "fall fireworks show" and I plan to use a combination of 500g cakes and artillery shells. I'm using a 50 shot fan rack with DR-11 12" HDPE mortars...

It seems like the "true firework junkies" promote building one's own mortar rack. Does anyone have an itemized list of necessary building material (i.e.- HDPE tubes, lumber, plywood, etc...) as well...

All 3 brands (black mamba, excalibers, and exterminators) will fit into the 12" DR 11 mortar?

One more thing...I would like to fuse multiple 500g cakes together so they go off in sequential order....
