Yes, the above picture is a slightly cheaper way of meshing the large rockets. The rocket head itself is meshed and then tested as above.

Yes, in the UK we are now moving towards "CE Marked" fireworks. This means the firework must now conform to European standards...

All the rockets in the video are 1.3g consumer rockets and carry salutes and colour (effects).....rockets that just carry salutes are classed as 1.1g in the UK.

In the UK (and parts of Europe) you have to do a 'UN6c burn test' to prove that the firework will be classed as 1.4g.
Basically they set the firework carton on fire...
We (Epic Fireworks) have storage and transport for 1.3g fireworks in the UK. Most other firework companies can only store and transport 1.4g fireworks. Certain fireworks are packed in the metal mesh...
I think there is a big difference between UK 1.4g and US 1.4g (bore size, powder weights, gross weights, type of break charge.........)
