Biography:

The year was 1976 and it was the 4th of July. My Father told me don't tell your Mother, and he handed me a Piccolo Pete Whistler from Freedom Fireworks in Southern California. I was instructed to set it on our curb and to come back and carefully use a punk to light the fuse! I was 5yrs old. The thrill of the sound and smoke was surreal! It was our countries Bicentennial and the neighborhood was abuzz with fireworks sounding all around. 45 years later I’m still hooked! I come to share stories and old flyers and catalogs of fireworks from years past.
