Im getting ready to build some slice racks in next few days and wanted to make sure they would b wide enough to use for dominator pro 19sh or biggest common 1.4 slices. I dont have any on hand or even plans for them this year but just wanted to make sure my racks would b big enough to accommodate when i do in the future. Thanks

I told some people in the consumer rack business about a one year ago to consider selling these because I can see some advanced enthusiast will be looking for them in the future. Did you look at some of Dominator or Spirit of 76 websites? They may list the measurements. If I find time in the next week I'll try to get some measurements of a common slice for you.

Thanks dave, i have searched dominator and 76 and found lots of useful info on hieghts and spread of product but nothing as far as physical dimensions. In the process I did come across slice racks that 76 is selling but they dont share anything about the size. I have some smaller slices that ill b using this year but wanna build my racks in a way thatll fit everything if not then ill just build racks for each size im sure they'd look better anyways but rather use my storage space for something more versatile.

I've got some 19 shot Dominator slices sitting in my garage. I'll try to measure them when I get home and get you the info.

For what it's worth, I don't put them in racks. I just stake them to the ground.

It's not the 19-shot but I just measured a dominator 13-shot that's ~1.5" deep, 20" at the base, and ~32" at the top. They all vary slightly in dimensions. I built a basic platform last year that was 38" wide with vertical supports on each end.

I noticed these being sold but they don't seem wide enough for my preference. https://www.pyroboom.com/products.aspx?name=CSR

So the 19 shot is 44" across the top, 30.5" at the base, and 8.5" tall.

Here's a picture of the one I measured for you to compare.

Hope this helps.

I use 24" wide plywood cut to necessary lengths for the base and make plywood/2x3's to make "bookends". That one Rick measured sounds like it's as big as a 76 Ghostsweep.

I used these racks for them as well. Yes they overhang a lot but it is not a big deal, the base is wide enough. You can see them at the 32sec mark in my video from last year

Thanks for all the info everyone i really appreciate it. I plan a similar design to that 1s at pyroboom but using aluminum t track between strips of plywood on a 2x3 frame, to make them easily adjustable. I always try and make my projects as versatile as possible. I was torn between comet racks or slice racks this year i decided to build slice racks and 62mm racks this year and comet mine racks next year. So i plan on just wrapping comets and mines in strapping tape in bundles and stake em this year since all those r just going straight up. Thanks again ill post some pictures here when there finished if any1 wants to see what iv come up with.

Thanks Dave. I actually took your continuing education program and remembered that rack and that big c slice that didn't quite fit i went back and watched it looking for something to compare to to try and guesstimate a size before i posted the question on here. Iv got a plan figured out in my head kinda borrowing features from different style racks iv seen from people on here and elsewhere. After the t-track i ordered arrives ill hit up home depot and post some pictures of finished product. Thanks every1 for all the help on this topic

I built a small and large CSR (Cake Slice Rack) about 2 months ago. The one large design is posted here. It also has a optional "fuse channel" so you can run your fuse down the rack without impeding the fuse.

Iv finished my slice racks i built 5 and everything cut and piloted for a 6th im only planning on using 2 this year but the track was 80$ for 4 or 102 for 12 because of free shipping. Dimensions are 31 1/2" wide by 48 long. 1/2" plywood on 2x3 frame they r very sturdy and capable of clamping slices very securely all and all i couldn't b happier i feel like theyll b big enough for 19 shot based on dimensions you guys have shared. (They have 13sh dom slices in) The open sides will allow use of C slices

along this same line, does anyone know the end to end firing distance of the 13s fan slices? Someone said 100' to each side, but that seems extreme after watching the videos....
