Can someone explain to me why one European firecracker would be classified as UN0335 1.3g and another UN0336 1.4g

If you keep looking you may even find one that has UL Approved on it. People in United States are use to believing in truthful labels on products they assume that same rule applies to fireworks products. It does not not. It takes a while to get use to it.

Well the bottom one looks bigger and could have enough explosive mixture in it to be classified for the higher level shipping/storage category.

Is it possible that the 1.4 is BP and the 1.3 flash? I once had acquired some firecracker/salute blister pack assortments from Germany, and 2/3 of them were BP.
