Still waking up but are those binding post with banana jacks? Would be curious how much a board like that would cost with pyroclips instead.

Just got done installing 18 of these in 6 of my mods. Looking forward to giving them a test run during the Christmas break.

The breakout boards that convert the DB 25 to 3 RJ45 could really work out great for the guys using the 36Ms

That's the board that caught my eye.

Here is a video I made on the breakout boards. I did this without doing any research to see what I could do with some of them.

The boards tested in the video appear to be the same as the 6S slats sold by Cobra? The boards that breaks out a DB25 connection to 3 RJ45 connections is the most interesting to me.

What would you do with the DB25 to RJ45 board? Do you already have Cobra cable set up to accommodate that? Then use that breakout board to run CAT 5 to other breakouts?

I was thinking it would offer some flexibility. Take an 18M module, rather than running a single DB25 cable to an 18S slat you have the option of running a shorter DB25 cable to that breakout board then have 3 different runs of RJ45 to three 6S slats. Basically you can have an 18M mod with a DB25 and use it with a single 18S slat but you can also use it the same as an 18M equipped with 3 RJ45 and 3 6S slats.

Looking at it again. It appears one of the DB25 to RJ45 boards would fit right into a DB25 connector on a mod so you might not even need a cable. If so you could run RJ45 right from the mod with this board plugged into the DB25 connector.

In this video I experiment with the breakout boards on a different firing system. I'm mixing 6 shot boards with a 12 shot board from another manufacture.
