Here are some pictures of the Cobra 6M from a few months ago. I could not release them until after the convention. For those that want a closer look.

Nice to see them get some smaller modules. Any idea what retail is on them?

They look like a nice option for pre-wiring certain effects. I don't see them as being very user friendly in the field. I can only imagine my frustration working with them when I'm sweating all over the place and trying to feed wires into those tiny cues, then trying to fumble around with a tiny screwdriver to try and secure each pair of wires. *If* the price-point is $250 each, that alone would keep me away. I'm thinking more like $175. Maybe even $200. But not $250. That's way too much IMHO. Maybe I'd change my mind if I saw one in person, but that's my initial thought on these.

Agree with the price point, I think $99 would be more in the wheelhouse of what I’d be willing to spend for a 6 holer.

They would be very handy for big stuff shooting in outboard positions. This is why I have the Chinese system with it’s small modules to compliment my cobra. It’s very flexible in that aspect.

they are I believe mainly geared for spfx like body/blood hits on actors,
but obviously can be used as a 6 cue module.
a great addition to the cobra range !!

As Dave321 said above, at Cobra Con, Scott said they were primarily designed for special effects use. The body is sturdy aluminum and can be worn using a strap/belt for on body use.. It's designed to take a beating, has a huge battery and has all the capabilities of a full size module.

There isn't a morning I don't wake up wishing to shoot squibs from my body in a action movie.
