I did a video like this with Cobra and now with the FireTEK. These are low voltage LED bulbs. It is interesting to get a visual of these systems and how they scan.

Answers to your questions from this video:
- stars on continuity testing it means something connected but not good (will not fire)
- safety during testing continuity: LEDs will emit light during tests because they need very low current for this (less than 1 mA)... fireTEK use less than 2 to 5mA to test a channel for only 1ms. An igniter recommend test firing current maximum 25mA (some up to to 50mA) and they have a safety current at least 100mA (up to 400mA some brands). To fire an igniter it needs much higher energy. With fireTEK in 1ms with less than 5mA it is impossible to provide enough energy fire an igniter. More of that fireTEK it has some 2 more extra safety features to ensure the current it is limited and the igniter will not fire during continuity tests.
