Its funny you mentioned "sweets" some of my Indian friends here in United States are diabetic and they tell me the incidence of diabetes is high in the Indian population. When I ask why that is, he responded all celebrations in India include a sweet treat.

dave - we have some really good Indian restaurants, in the PGH area ... particularly, "The Mintt" , on Banksville Road, in the South Hills.
Check it out . They have an all you can eat lunch-buffet , Tues-Sat.
ridiculously good.

Dont worry i'll provide jaggery based or low sugar level sweets...but one thing is sure ..you'll forget cakes and chocolates after that ...and also some good vegetarian food too..flavouered by neem leaves so that your diabatees is under control......by the way stop eating fast food...it can make obese and diabatic too.

I live in an area with a huge Indian population. I'd say that about 50% of the people living in my apartment complex are Indian. Unfortunately, fireworks are illegal in my state so nobody really uses fireworks to celebrate Diwali in my complex. I don't really care if fireworks are legal or not, so I plan on putting on a small display in the street on Oct. 30 to help the local Indian folks celebrate. Plus it gives me a reason to shoot some stuff, lol.

I am not diabetic , I was just referencing the incidence of diabetes in the Indian population in general.
At pitshack, just shoot the display in less than 15 minutes and you should be fine.
I'll have to my wife about that Buffet , she and my daughter really enjoy Indian cuisine.
