You can visit the FireTEK website with the above link.
In this video I use a Samsung Smart Phone android to manually fire a simulated fireworks display. The FireTEK system with work with the included remote plus the included software allows you to use your Smart Phone.

Played around with the Bluetooth a little its nice my range was about 30ft. There was no delay when I touched one of the cue's it went off immediately. Would be nice if they could put a touch screen right on the device with the same interface as the app. As of now if you just want to fire off a cue you have to turn Bluetooth on which takes too long connect to it then fire. They make cheap small touch screens just saying it would be nice to have. Maybe an option (FTH48-Touch);)

Is the Bluetooth on the firetek 4.0? Most Mobil devices are 3.0 which is about a 30' range.

I keep wanting to try the FireTek using a tablet to see what the range will be. Although for use with Consumer Fireworks I think 30 feet is fine. Someone out there using a phone to fire their display or even run some test? It would great of they could post a video on the forums.

I have the fth48e non wireless with Bluetooth feature. I have created 2 separate show scripts one for daytime other for night show, I plan using tablet to start the the scripts both are pyro musical type synced with music. Question: if I start show and walk out of range with tablet will script keep playing? And if I walk back in range can I close app reopen and connect and have control? Good questions for firetek guy.

I know if you lost connection the script will keep playing not sure what reconnecting would do

When you reconnect normally you should have the control again.

Should I restart the app or will Bluetooth reconnection be enough

A Bluetooth reconnection must be enough because the application request from the module when reconnect the state it is.
