From the description on the video, it looks like gas in the sewage caused this explosion. He apparently placed a fireworks device in the little hole we sometimes see on sewage manholes. This video bring back memories for me, I remember being on top of a building in Pittsburgh, the rooftop had sewage pipes that vent for the building. I remember smelling sewage gas coming out of the pipes. I was thinking maybe I should not place this cake next to this pipe. Now that I see this I am glad I moved the cake away. LOL

Methane I assume. l saw a kid when I was one as well, throw an M80 or Silver Salute into a sewer and it flipped the manhole cover. I doubt the firecracker itself alone had the power to do it.

Sewer explosion tore up about a mile of w.117th/Lakewood,ohio. Red paving bricks filled the sky, never forget it. And no I didn't throw a firecracker in a manhole.

Since this video has no sound. My mind keeps telling me someone should dub it with "Let me see your Hips Swing".. Savage. ... Is it wrong to think that? LOL... Or do I watch too many YouTube videos?
