What are you're favorite italian firework manifacture/brand/company etc?

Perhaps Parente, Vaccalluzzo or La Rosa to name a few

That would be more then one haha.

For me those would be; F.lli Vaccalluzzo, F.lli Di Matteo, F.lli Di Candia and Bartolomeo Bruscella ( Bruscella fireworks)

But that's just a small section of the good companies active in Southern Italy and Sicily, they all are masters in making of fireworks.

The only Italian products I have experience with are those crafted by Di Blasio Elio... I like what I've seen from it so far, although I heard some of their cylindrical salute shells (Colpo Cobra 100, 4" 678g) are a tad bit unstable. Especially the plastic ones.

Italy is on my bucket list when it comes to fireworks... Thanks to RedBaron here. :P

Hi or better Ciao a tutti ;)

I very much like Pannella, Senatore, Romano and Gabriele Vallefuoco. But that is too general, there are so many good companies, especially in southern Italy. In general, I'd rather go with the small, family- and craft-orientated firms. Those "import-or-buy-and-put-own-label-on"-companies are not for me (Parente, Vaccalluzzo in part, Martarello...) :)

I agree with pyros, the are a lot of good companies in italy. I am not very enthausiastic about Parente and that kind of companies to. But i really like Vaccalluzzo. After the trip rotello i realized that there are many good companies with their own specialities so this question is to difficult to answer i guess. Scudo got there huge controbombas that Controcolpo mentioned, Vaccalluzzo got some great horsetails etc.

i didnt know that Vaccalluzzo put there own labels on his sold Italian fireworks. Can you give an example of it? I do know that Parente Fireworks produces some (most?) of there shells in china and eastern Europe. But Vaccalluzzo? I only know that they are using china shells from Jorgé in there shows.

friends and that's one of the most beautiful performances ever seen in Italy, is a huge spectacle presented by the two companies more good according to my opinion that there are in Italy, I'm talking about f.lli La Rosa di Bagheria (PA) and the company LuigiDiMatteo Sant'Antimo (NA), the show was done in my little town in Sicily where I was born and raised VillafrancaSicula I hope you enjoy and would like to see the comments! thanks

I count among the best fireworks companies:
LA ROSA Lorenzo (from Bagheria - Palermo) and VACCALUZZO Brothers (from Belpasso - Catania) for the Sicily
BRUSCELLA Bartolomeo (from Modugno - Bari) for the Puglia region
DI MATTEO Brothers (from Sant'Antimo - Napoli), SCHIATTARELLA Brothers (from Mugnano - Napoli), LICCARDO Brothers (from Mugnano - Napoli) and DI CANDIA Brothers (from Sassano - Salerno) for the Campania region

However, there are many fireworks companies that, in recent years, have grown much! I talk about SCUDO Brothers (from Roccarainola - Napoli), SCUDO Gerardo (from Ercolano - Napoli), PAOLELLI (from Tagliacozzo - Aquila) and ROMANO Brothers (from Angri - Salerno)

Who can forget the festival of Rotello of 2010 and the daytime fireworks display of Paolelli?

I'm also very happy for the five fireworks companies of my region, the Liguria. Infact, from last years to now, they have started to propose good performances here. I talk about 1) BLB Pyrotechnic (from Moconesi - Genoa), 2) GOLFO PARADISO Pyrotechnic (from Avegno - Genoa), 3) TIGULLIO Pyrotechnic (from Rapallo - Genoa), 4) SETTI Pyrotechnic (from Genoa) and 5) LEVERONE Pyrotechnic (from Cicagna - Genoa)

PS Fireworks diplays vary according to the budgets and often a famous fireworks company can also set a fireworks display that isn't to their levels!

I watched a great YT video of an Italian fireworks company called Vaccalluzzo. They seem to be making all kinds of shells and even some roman candles.(I think?)

Most of the larger display fireworks companies in United States trace their pyrotechnic heritage back to Italy. Moreover, when we see fireworks display from Italy we see why. The more fireworks videos from Italy I see the more I am appreciating fireworks without music. The fireworks videos posted on the forums without the music have a rhythm or cadence to them that is very enjoyable.

A beautiful intense three minutes. I liked the falling green effect on the cake firing at 1:50 mark. It is hard to believe you can shoot that many fireworks in three minutes. Can you imagine trying to sell this display to a sponsor? It probably cost thousands of dollars and only last three minutes.

It's not a cake firing Dave, they are actually really well timed singleshots, wich is a technique often used in Italian shows!
